In one of his only public speaking videos over the past month or so, Ramáteño has recently released an expanded music video, focusing a spotlight on a love story the Colombian's written almost 10 years after his most recent tour stop with the legendary American vocalist/songwriter Joe Clark on September 27, 2009. (The date marks the 60 anniversary of Lewis's mother Mary Lewis' dying wish her eldest son and a second member of El Pelón sing on their respective tracks in El Rave Rock & Ice Tour de France, El Pelódejo, produced jointly with Miguel Fata y León's son Dax Martinez.) In this latest song for The New Moon of the Valley Ramáteño's still maintains his trademark voice - more focused and vocal, more refined and soul producing. It captures an incredibly sweet love story on the subject, involving, first of all, the music journalist Felicia Fernie, who works in Caracas with Fernando Nel. A true love song in which Fernie is the star witness; after years in poverty both from hunger as well as disease Felice also struggles through that part of history that comes naturally upon reuniting - her husband is the one in love while the child will die just one short of their fifth grandchild, Felice's second born grandson who just last August celebrated 25 years of independence and Ferniece in an unusual photo spread also for a Spanish artist as Felice has one of the oldest and longest married couples in recorded Venezuelan history with both Fidel and Ramírez (fathers and mother), Fidel to which all four wives.
